Refinished fancy lady's makeup table or vanity. The small Art Deco details really drew me to this piece. You can picture Fay Wray getting ready at a vanity like this one. It wasn't in awful shape but was dull and tired looking. It's back to looking fit for a movie star!
This little Eastern Furniture company gate leg table came to us from my wife's grandparents' house in Cobalt, Ontario. This table had seen better days, as it had rings, peeling veneers, and a chipped and peeling finish. I experimented with some new finishing techniques and achieved a super deep, dark ebony high-gloss finish.
