This pair of teak side tables belonged to my parents, and there was a matching coffee table. I don’t know if one of my siblings has the coffee table or if it’s gone for good. Anyway, these tables needed a touch up.
You can see the wear from scratches, water rings, and a nice big hair dye spill, making these tables destined for a rec room.
This Ms. Pac-Man-looking stain is one of the worst I have had to deal with.
I used a couple bleaching techniques which removed the stain, but left the wood very dry and pale.
A splash of Teak Oil and the stain is a thing of the past.
Now they look like they could be a family heirloom again.
